Bladder Pain Syndrome / Interstitial Cystitis

Bladder Pain Syndrome (BPS), also known as Interstitial Cystitis (IC), is a chronic and often debilitating condition that causes pain and/or pressure in the bladder, urethra, and vagina.

BPS is frequently misunderstood and misdiagnosed, often mistaken for a bladder infection. However, it is not caused by bacteria and does not respond to antibiotics. Instead, it is a chronic inflammatory condition of the bladder wall.
